Adele’s weight critics suffered yet another blow as the new mom disclosed that she would only lose weight if her health or sex life suffers and not because industry stereotypes demand her to do it. Adele recently gave birth to a baby boy with partner, Simon Konecki and is criticised about her fuller figure.
Lady Gaga recently cited Adele’s weight to critics, who expressed that Gaga had put on extra pounds. The ‘Born This Way’ singer respected Adele’s decision of not giving in to the industry’s cliche. Lady Gaga stated that Adele has set the bar very high for every woman in this world.
Commenting about the hate comments on social networking sites and YouTube about her weight, Adele said, “I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me – ‘Test pilot for pies’ – but I’ve always been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn’t.”
These revelations come from ‘Adele: The Biography’ as the star bares it all in her biography written by Chas Newkey-Burden. Chas has written biographies of many celebrities including, Brad & Angelina, Simon Cowell, Stephenie Meyer, John Blake, Amy Winehouse and Paris Hilton.
‘Adele: The Biography’ has also divulged details about her susceptible side despite her stardom. Adele revealed that she suffers from stage fright. The singer said, “I’m scared of audiences. One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out of the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile vomited on someone.”
