Angus T. Jones is reported to not appear in the next season of, ‘Two and a Half Men’ after his rant against the comedy show. Miley Cyrus might get an extension on the 11th season of the show after Jones leaves, but her entry as a regular has not been confirmed yet. Thanks to Miley’s appearance, the show achieved its all-time highest ratings.
After the breakdown of Jones, his stay at the show had become questionable and with Miley bringing in great ratings, reports about her replacing Jones have surfaced. The show would have lost two original stars after the exit of Angus as Charlie Sheen became the first one to leave. Jon Cryer will be the only ‘men’ left since the inception of the show.
Ashton Kutcher, who plays Walden Schmidt on the show, was pleased with Miley’s appearance on ‘Two and a Half Men’. He said, “She walked in here from the table read and just owned it. It might become two and a half and three quarters of a woman.” With things going the way they are now, the title might be really changed.
Angus T. Jones later apologised to the cast and crew of the show and cleared that he had utmost respect for them. Jones said, “I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.”
With speculations surrounding the sets of ‘Two and a Half Men’, and the original cast of the ‘men’ slated to reduce to one, the show is gearing for some changes. Do you think Miley Cyrus is a good replacement for Angus T. Jones?
